Chapter 1: Light
"Watch out!" Shouted a female's voice as a loud crashing sound echoed in Shizuma High. The girl who shouted was fourteen years old Mai Sakino. She had short pink hair and dark green eyes. The girl she shouted to was fourteen years old Azuya Hitori. Azuya had long blue hair with one red eye and one green eye. The reason Mai was shouting was because Azuya was going to slip on a wet floor... which already happened.

"Are you alright?" Mai worried herself as Azuya smile and rubbed her back slightly. "I didn't see the wet floor sign there... sorry..." Azuya explained as Mai smiled and laughed lightly as she slipped as well ending up right beide Azuya. They laughed together in slight embrassement as a tall boy with green hair and gray highlights followed by one green eye and the other grey, got down in a sitting position in front of Azuya. This was fifteen years old Hitoshi Hitori and he is Azuya''s older brother. "How long are you two going to stay on the ground?" Hitoshi questioned as he flicked Azuya's forehead lightly. Azuya looked at him as if she was going to brust out in tears but he held out a hand to help her up from the ground. He held a hand out to Mai as someone grabbed her from behind by her waist.

His arms felt soft and even thought he was gripping her tightly it felt gentle. The boy was sixteen year old Luna Kuchikukan, He had glittering dark purple eyes and matching hair. Although it was slightly strange for a boy to have that kind of color, it fit Luna very well. "Now what am I going to do with you Mai? You're to clumsy to begin with... you're gonna be the weapon of your own death..." Luna explained but made it as sarcastic as possible. "I will not!" Mai fired back as Luna let go of her and smiled. It was an every day routine that they all had gotten use to even thought it was only been a week of high school for Azuya and Mai. Suddenly something flashed at the side of both Azuya and Mai's eyes.

They both turned as Luna watched Mai carefully. "What are you doing ms.clumsy?" Luna asked as Mai didnt answer instead she walked towards the glass window. It was a long window but outside it seemed almost... miserable. The sky was pure dark and it seemed as if the world was covered with darkness. "What could have happened that made it all dark? It was brighter eariler..." Azuya thought to herself as she saw mai look closely at the glass. Hitoshi felt something strong head towards them. Mai tapped the glass lightly as it cracked then suddenly everything shattered. Luna quickly covered Mai's eyes as Hitoshi pulled Azuya to another room.

Luna followed slightly as it started to rain hard. Luna closed the door behind him as he looked at Mai and saw the fear in her eyes. She breath calmly but inside her heart was runing wild. There was a light at the door but no one dared to touch it. Azuya and Mai looked closely at the door as they could see it getting brighter. Mai got up from her spot and walked towards the door as Luna stopped her. "What are you doing Mai!?" Questioned Luna as Mai ingored him. instead she just walked forward as she placed her hand on the door knob. She couldnt tell what it was, but she couldnt contorl her body. It was as if something had taken over her.

"Mai stop! You dont know what opening that door can do to us!" Luna shouted trying to see if it would get to her but it just looked like it went in one ear and out the other. Mai turned the door knob as the door swung open whipping her to the ground. The light was to bright for Hitoshi and luna to handle but as for Azuya she coulds she it clearly as if she was just looking outside a window. Then suddenly something whipped her in the head as she hit the ground

"Where am I..." Azuya's voice echoed around the dark space known as a room. She looked around curiously but not understanding where she was at all. "You are in my house..." Said a female voice. Then out in the distance was a light. It was a pure bright light... but inside the light was... herself...?
